Sound propagates through waves generated every time an object stirs the air around it, creating subtle changes in atmospheric pressure. For this reason, experts often describe sound waves using the concept of frequency. This collection is inspired by sound frequencies associated with healing.

Our society is immersed in frequencies — they influence our well-being, mood, and even health. This idea inspires a collection of design objects that embody the essence of healing sound frequencies.

Through a creative exploration, the inspiration stems from various frequencies believed to hold therapeutic properties. Sound therapy has been used for centuries to help individuals relax, reduce stress, and promote overall wellness. These objects take that concept and translate it into limited-edition collectible design pieces that command presence in any space.

We aim to create objects that are not only aesthetically compelling but also promote a sense of calm and well-being. Through the use of pattern and texture, the collection seeks to foster peaceful environments that encourage introspection and deeper connection to the surrounding world. Each form is a unique and meaningful expression, exploring the intersection of art and wellness.

Crafted in bronze, each object carries a tactile quality that allows sound to emerge when its surfaces are touched, creating a sensory and meditative encounter.

432HZ / lounge chair / ( ascension )

This lounge chair draws inspiration from the transformative properties of sound, particularly the 432 Hz frequency — often associated with harmonizing body and mind, and fostering spiritual elevation. This vibration is translated into the chair’s distinct form and materiality.

The polished bronze finish captures and reflects light in hypnotic ways, enhancing the auditory and visual experience. Despite its compact scale, its ergonomics are thoroughly studied to ensure each curve aligns naturally with the body’s contours. Sitting in this chair evokes a floating sensation — a meditative state where form, sound, and material merge in deep connection.

Built upon a three-legged base, the chair embodies a sense of unconventional balance that is surprisingly stable. Its compact yet comfortable design plays with carefully calculated proportions to cradle the body and evoke a sensation of weightlessness. The legs, cast in bronze using traditional metal casting techniques, form a triadic structure symbolizing harmony and the unity of physical, mental, and spiritual realms. The seat and backrest feature continuous, curving surfaces that echo moving sound waves. Its form — with subtle folds and smooth transitions — is inspired by cymatic patterns: visual representations of sound frequencies. Upon touch, the metal emits low harmonic tones, offering a multisensory experience where sound gently envelops the user.

396HZ / chair / ( healing )

The 396 Hz frequency is said to help release feelings of guilt and fear. Its visual patterns inspired the sinuous curves of this chair, which embody liberation and emotional release. The form takes cues from sand-based cymatic experiments that reveal the geometry of sound waves.

528HZ / side table / ( love )

Associated with love, healing, and transformation, the 528 Hz frequency inspires this sculptural side table. Its round, concave top represents completeness and softness — mirroring the emotional fluidity of love itself. The tabletop's flowing curves suggest the gentle movement of sound waves, while the smooth, polished bronze finish reflects light in a way that accentuates the warmth and depth of the material.

741HZ / lamp / ( purity )

This conical lamp embodies the 741 Hz frequency, known for its association with cleansing and emotional stability. A harmonious tripod structure supports the piece, symbolizing the unity of mind, body, and spirit. The bell-shaped shade, sculpted in bronze, captures and redirects light with precision.

A strategically hidden internal light source reflects onto the upper surface of the shade, diffusing a soft, even glow. This play of light conveys a sense of clarity and serenity, while the golden and silvery nuances in the finish add richness and visual depth.
The polished surface allows light to glide gently across the bronze, creating controlled reflections and subtle patterns reminiscent of cymatic studies. More than a lighting element, this lamp is designed as a vessel of tranquility — an object tailored for spaces where calm and clarity are essential.

This organically contoured chair is designed to follow the natural lines of the human body, offering a sense of comfort and relaxation. Its three-legged structure is cast in bronze — a material that enables expressive, fluid forms and reflects the complexity and resonance of this particular frequency.

The resulting form is not only a functional table but also a meaningful piece that encapsulates the vibration of connection, restoration, and emotional resonance. Slightly irregular in silhouette, it evokes the vibrational essence of sound in motion.

tradition & craft

Metal casting in Mexico is a millennia-old tradition and one of the country's most sophisticated artisanal practices. Pre-Hispanic cultures such as the Mexica and Zapotec mastered techniques like lost-wax casting to create objects of profound spiritual and symbolic significance — often working with gold, silver, and copper to depict deities and cosmological elements. With the arrival of European colonists in the 16th century, indigenous techniques merged with European methodologies, giving rise to unique hybrid processes. This cultural convergence led to the introduction of new alloys, such as bronze, expanding the artistic and functional range of cast metalwork in Mexico. Today, this craft remains alive in regions such as Guerrero, Oaxaca, and Michoacán, where traditional practices are passed down through generations. Bronze continues to be a favored material due to its durability, malleability, and ability to capture intricate detail — making it especially suitable for expressive and tactile design.

By working with these ancestral techniques, the Frequency collection pays tribute to this rich artisanal heritage. Each piece fuses traditional casting methods with a contemporary design language, celebrating both the technical mastery of Mexican artisans and the cultural legacy embedded in each creation. This collection is not merely a series of objects — it is a sensorial exploration of how sound, material, and heritage converge to create experiences that transcend the visual. Each piece invites a deeper connection with Mexico’s cultural roots, honoring metal as a medium of expression, transformation, and continuity.
